Cancellation & Studio Policies

Appointments cannot be canceled or moved via online after the 24hr time frame of your upcoming appointment has passed. Please contact us via phone or text

We advise you to carefully read and understand these policies before booking an appointment.



Late Cancellations, Late Arrivals & No-Shows:

  • Cancellation notices given within 24hrs or less of your upcoming appointment date/time (with the exception of an emergency) will be charged a late fee of $25 ($100 for services of $200+)

  • Those who wish to reschedule an appointment within 24hrs or less of their upcoming appointment date/time will be required to pay 50% of the service cost as a deposit which will be used towards the total cost of their appointment.

  • Those arriving more than 10 minutes late to an appointment with no prior notice may not receive their service (depending on availability) and will be required to pay the full service cost. 

  • Those who no-show to a scheduled appointment date/time will be required to pay a 50% deposit fee upon their next appointment request and be charged the full service cost of their appointment.

  • After hours appointments (upon request/availability) will require a 25% deposit. 

  • Special event bookings for services require a 50% deposit.

  • Specialty makeup and group services require a 50% deposit.

  • CB Artistry LLC reserves the right to require a deposit for any reason deemed necessary before an appointment is booked,  We reserve our right to cancel appointments or deny services for any reason at any given time.

Booking Policies:

  • Minors: All minors under the age of 18 years old, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They are not legally able to consent to our services, which is a requirement before any service is performed.  If a minor shows up to the appointment without a parent or legal guardian present, the service will not be performed.

  • Booking Methods:  You may book an appointment with us via online booking app or via text, phone call, email or in person at our studio.

  • Appointment Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation from us via email, text or phone call for your appointment.  If you have not received a confirmation, we cannot guarantee your appointment slot. You will be required to respond to confirm the appointment. All unconfirmed appointments will be canceled by 9:30am the day of selected appointment time. *Cancellation policies are subject to apply.

  • Appointment Reminders: You will receive a reminder message from us regarding your appointment time and date.  You will need to reply to the message to confirm or you may risk cancellation of your appointment.  Please note that our appointment reminder messages are a courtesy to remind our clients of their upcoming appointment.  They are not to be used as a reminder to cancel or reschedule last minute.  When booking an appointment, either online or in-studio, you are responsible for keeping track of that appointment.  Please note that at the 24 hour mark, when these automated messages go out, you are already within the late-cancellation window.  Please be responsible, keep track of the appointments you book, and do not rely on reminders. 

  • Rebooking: Please check this page for any updates upon booking new appointments.  The date of the last policy update can be found at the bottom of this page for easy reference.  These policies are subject to change at any time.  Each new appointment you make is subject to the policies which are in place at the time that appointment is booked, not the policies which were in place at the time of your first appointment.  You are responsible for keeping up-to-date on any changes made to this page.

  • Rescheduling and Cancellations: To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us via phone/text or email.  Please be mindful of the late cancellation windows outlined in our policies.  If you do not communicate properly about cancelling or rescheduling an appointment, your appointment will not be considered cancelled or rescheduled, you will be considered a no-show.

Studio Policies:

  • Guests: Friends, family, etc are welcome to accompany you during your appointment! (As long as social distancing guidelines can be safely followed.)  Please keep in mind that our work space is small and we appreciate your consideration on limiting the amount of guests you bring with you.  Guests accompanying for bridal services must be pre-approved prior to the appointment, and may be asked to wait in our lobby.

  • Children: Children are welcome to accompany you to your service! Please keep in mind that due to safety and our limited work space area, we kindly ask that your little ones remain seated during the appointment.

  • Animals: Per the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners Sanitation Subchapter 21 NCAC 14H .0402-E: "Animals or birds shall not be in a cosmetic art shop or school.  Fish in an enclosure and animals trained for the purpose of accompanying disabled persons are exempt from the prohibition in this Paragraph."  Excluding service animals, please do not bring pets with you.  As much as we love them, it is a sanitation violation.  If you are bringing a service animal, we ask that you let us know beforehand that you are bringing a service animal which is required because of a disability, and to let us know exactly what work or task that the animal been trained to perform

  • Photos: No photography or videos are to be taken during your appointment at anytime for any reason unless approved by us.

Service Policies:

  • Your hair cycle determines the length of how long your hair removal service will last.  Typical results last between 3-6 weeks.

  • Your hair length must be 1/4" (size of rice grain) for any waxing service to be safely and successfully performed. You can still receive a full Brazilian wax service during your menstrual cycle, if you so desire.  Please use personal hygiene practices and a clean tampon or menstrual cup prior to your service.  If you do not wish to be waxed on your cycle, please track and plan your appointment appropriately.  Cancellation/Rescheduling policies still apply. 

  • Trimming is not included in hair removal services offered by CB Artistry LLC (with the exception of eyebrows for safety purposes.)  If you show up to a hair removal service and require trimming for the service to be complete, you acknowledge that not disclosing this prior to the appointment adds time to your service and will result in an extra charge with the possibility of cancellation.

  • Contact lenses can not be worn during lash tint or lift services.  Please plan accordingly prior to your service. You may put them back in immediately after the service is performed. 

  • Use of any chemicals, harsh skincare products or sulfates on tinted brows and lashes can strip the tint color from the hair.  This color will fade out naturally within 3-6 weeks. 

  • Color change If you are unhappy with the color of your lash or brow tint service please contact us within 24hrs for a free color adjustment!  We understand that sometimes lighting is tricky and we want you to love your new color!

  • Please be advised, you may have a reaction to products or services offered by CB Artistry LLC.  You acknowledge the risk of any potential reactions to any product or service here, and you accept responsibility for that risk.  If you are trying a new service for the first time and are unsure how you will react to it, you may not want to book it, say, the day before your vacation or wedding!  Feel free to contact us if you have known allergies or sensitivities, and we will let you know exactly what products are used during the services you are interested in.

  • Your service may not last as long as expected, for any multitude of reasons.  You acknowledge that result lifespans are only estimates and there is always a chance you may not experience the same results longevity as average estimates state.

  • Makeup & Mascara removal is not included in makeup, lash lift or lash tint services offered by CB Artistry LLC. By the time of your makeup service appointment you are expected to arrive with makeup completely removed and eyelash tint service with mascara completely removed.  You acknowledge that arriving to your appointments without doing so adds time to your service, which will result in an additional makeup removal charge.

  • Services Refunds are not given at anytime under any circumstance. If you are unhappy with your service we will do what it takes to make sure you leave satisfied. We pride ourselves on providing high quality service to all clients. Please be advised of this policy prior to booking an appointment.

  • Service Specials are permitted to change at any time for any reason. CB Artistry LLC reserves the right to refuse to honor a discounted price at any time for any reason. (This includes Groupon.)

  • Groupon vouchers are limited to 3 per person (may purchase 1 additional as a gift for someone else.) May not be combined with any other promotional offers by CB Artistry LLC. Limit 1 Groupon Voucher per visit. Promotional value may expire if the offer is discontinued or expired. CB Artistry LLC reserves the right to cancel promotions at any time for any reason. If someone has "purchased" a Groupon for you as a gift but your name appears as the payee, it will count towards your 3 vouchers towards the specific service. No exceptions.
